Years ago in time my mind had led me to believe that I was happy
but I found no happiness without you Jesus, precious savior
After I saw what my soul had needed for so long I trusted Jesus
and he has given me a life that lasts for ever, yes for ever
And I thank you Lord for giving up your very own, it's amazing
how you accepted me just the way I was
You didn't ask me to change, just believe you
but now you are changing me inside out!
Ever since I trusted Jesus Christ he came into my life and lives with me
and he has shown me what it means to have real happiness on the inside
Jesus gives me peace within when I yield myself to him and to his will
I have put my life into what he has spoken in his holy word
And I thank you Lord for giving up your very own, it's amazing
how you accepted me just the way I was

but now you are changing me inside out!
