There is one who speaks for me when I've fallen and lost my way
There is one who speaks for me when I've failed and my hope is gone
There is one who speaks for and he's never been turned away
There is one who speaks for me in the presence of the holy one

There is one who calls my name but I hear him with different ears
There is one who calls my name and I follow him where he is
There is one who calls my name and he calls me in righteousness
There is one who calls my name and he calls me to the presence of the holy one

He is the one who called me from darkness to walk in his holy light
There's no fear that can stand by the scars in his hand and he holds me there
And he holds me, and he holds me ever near
In the presence of the holy one
